Football Game Preview: Blacksburg Wildcats vs. Chester Cyclones + How To Watch

The Blacksburg Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the Chester Cyclones at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Blacksburg's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Liberty on Thursday. They fell 7-0 to the Red Devils. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Chester unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak last Friday. They fell just short of Mid-Carolina by a score of 38-35.

Blacksburg will have to contain Caleb Feaster as he made an impact in Chester's last game. He rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Chester also got a significant boost from Hudhaifah Taylor, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 81 yards.

Chester's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for Blacksburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
