Baseball Recap: High Point Baptist Academy's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

High Point Baptist Academy came tearing into Wednesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Conestoga Christian Cougars by a score of 6-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 back in March.

Landon Richard was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of High Point Baptist Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-3 when he doesn't). Colton Swenson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

High Point Baptist Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Conestoga Christian, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. High Point Baptist Academy will host Coventry Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Conestoga Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Christian School of York at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
