Preview: Fullington Academy Trojans vs. Augusta Prep Day Cavaliers
The Fullington Academy Trojans are on the road again on Thursday and play against the Augusta Prep Day Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on November 2nd. Neither Fullington Academy nor Augusta Prep Day posted many points in their last games could muster much offensive firepower in their last games.
Fullington Academy fell victim to Flint River Academy's stalwart defense two weeks ago and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Wildcats 41-0.
Meanwhile, Augusta Prep Day's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by Edmund Burke Academy on the road and fell 35-0. That's two games in a row now that Augusta Prep Day has lost by exactly 35 points.
Fullington Academy's loss was their fifth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 7-1 Aucilla Christian and 7-2 Gatewood (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 77.2% over those games). As for Augusta Prep Day, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
