Volleyball Recap: Immanuel Takes Down Bakersfield in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Immanuel walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Bakersfield Drillers with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won five contests in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13, 25-21.

Spencer Horn paced Immanuel's offense, picking up ten kills. Horn got some help from Tori Visser and her 28 assists. Ellsie Riddle controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Immanuel's win bumped their record up to 20-16. As for Bakersfield, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

Coming up, Immanuel will take on Shafter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bakersfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
