Soccer Recap: Laquey Comes Up Short

Laquey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Willard Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Willard this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-1 last Friday.

Laquey's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Willard, the win (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 22-4-1.

Coming up, Laquey will face off against Greenwood at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Willard, they will square off against McDonald County at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Willard are facing McDonald County at the right time seeing as McDonald County are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
