Basketball Recap: Northeast Nodaway's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Northeast Nodaway had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Albany Warriors out 35-33. This was a revenge game for the Blue Jays: when they faced off against the Warriors back in November of 2024, they had to take a 34-26 loss.

Northeast Nodaway's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Albany, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeast Nodaway will host Mound City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Albany, they will be playing at home against Winston at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
