Softball Recap: Enterprise Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Enterprise's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Pleasant Valley Vikings on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Hornets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Enterprise has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Pleasant Valley, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 15-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Enterprise will face off against rival Foothill at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pleasant Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Shasta at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
