Bensalem had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 12-7  on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  an  8-6  win over the Council Rock North Indians. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Fighting Owls have posted  against the Indians since May 10, 2022.
Bensalem got a great performance from  Trevor Morris as he  tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Ryan Strazz and  Peter Pasquarella did most of the damage at the plate:  Strazz  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI, while  Pasquarella  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double. That's the most  runs  Strazz has posted since back in April.
As for Council Rock North, their loss  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 13-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  defeat they have suffered  against Bensalem since May 12, 2021.
 On Council Rock North's side, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Preston Martin, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run. Another  was  Joe Rizzo, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bensalem will  take on  rival Neshaminy  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Fighting Owls 4.1, the Skins 2.5) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Council Rock North is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Council Rock South  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
