Softball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

The Mountain View Vikings lost 12-2 to the Providence Pioneers on Wednesday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mountain View's record is now 3-10. As for Providence, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Coming up, Mountain View will head out on the road to square off against Arroyo at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season. As for Providence, they will take on Verdugo Hills in a tournament on Saturday.
