Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln Mustangs vs. Archbishop Riordan Crusaders

The Lincoln Mustangs will head out to take on the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Archbishop Riordan took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lincoln, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Lincoln got the win against Balboa by a conclusive 3-0. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Lincoln never let Balboa on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Riordan suffered their biggest loss since March 6th on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Lowell.

Archbishop Riordan was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Lowell work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-19, 25-17.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 28-5 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Archbishop Riordan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Lincoln beat Archbishop Riordan 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Crusaders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
