Wilmington's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Batavia, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

Batavia didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Wilmington in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 56-51 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Batavia since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
