Softball Recap: Ludlow Panthers vs. Augusta Panthers
Ludlow scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Augusta Panthers as the Ludlow Panthers made off with a 25-15 victory. The win was some much needed relief for Ludlow as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Danielle Crawford and Evie Orsua did most of the damage at the plate: Crawford went 5-for-6 with seven RBI, two runs, and a triple, while Orsua scored five runs and stole a base while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Gillespie, who scored a run while going 4-for-6.
Ludlow pushed their record up to 6-11 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Augusta, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
