Plano and McKinney Boyd are an even 2-2 against one another since February of 2018, but likely not for long. The Plano Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the McKinney Boyd Broncos at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Friday just wasn't the day for Plano's offense. They lost 6-0 to Prosper on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but McKinney Boyd ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Rock Hill, sneaking past 4-3. That's two games straight that the Broncos have won by just one goal.

McKinney Boyd's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-8. As for Plano, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Plano was able to grind out a solid victory over McKinney Boyd when the teams last played back in January, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Plano since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
