Softball Recap: Kirby Comes Up Short

If Kirby was riding high fresh off their 18-12 takedown of Jessieville last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans came up short against the Centerpoint Knights on Tuesday, falling 21-2. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Kirby now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Centerpoint, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-3.

While Kirby had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
