After only one run in their last game, New Bloomfield made sure to put some runs up on the board against Smithton on Monday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 12-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

New Bloomfield has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Smithton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Bloomfield will venture away from home to challenge Centralia at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Smithton, they will face off against La Monte at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
