Soccer Game Preview: Owyhee vs. Rocky Mountain

Owyhee hasn't had much luck against Rocky Mountain recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Storm will square off against the Grizzlies at 8:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Owyhee is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Caldwell, who was ranked 11th at the time (Owyhee was ranked ninth). The Storm's defense stepped up to hand the Cougars a 2-0 shutout on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Owyhee.

Dane Lau and Yanis Vendee scored both of Owyhee's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Meanwhile, Rocky Mountain earned a 2-0 victory over Timberline on Friday.

Owyhee's record now sits at 12-4-1. As for Rocky Mountain, their record is now 13-2.

Owyhee suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Rocky Mountain in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can the Storm avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
