Baseball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield fell victim to Howland and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against Howland, falling 12-0. Springfield has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Howland, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Springfield will host Boardman at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Howland, they will take on Streetsboro at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
