Baseball Recap: Patterson Comes Up Short

Patterson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Hanson Memorial Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Lumberjacks have lost by exactly ten runs.

Patterson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Hanson Memorial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patterson will face off against A.J. Ellender at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hanson Memorial, they will square off against Westminster Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Crusaders have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
