Grundy Center strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Grundy Center pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, they moved to 4-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
