Soccer Recap: Galileo Comes Up Short

Galileo was the 2-0 winner over Lincoln when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Galileo Lions fell just short of the Lincoln Mustangs by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The loss was the Lions' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Galileo fell to 1-1-1. As for Lincoln, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Galileo and Urban will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 12:15 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Lincoln will take on KIPP SF College Prep in a holiday battle at at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
