Volleyball Recap: Acton-Boxborough Comes Up Short

Acton-Boxborough was the 3-2 winner over Shrewsbury when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Revolution fell just short of the Colonials by a score of 3-2 on Monday.

Acton-Boxborough wouldn't go down easily and took Shrewsbury into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-21, 25-17, 25-27, 15-8.

Acton-Boxborough's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Shrewsbury, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Acton-Boxborough will challenge Westborough at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Shrewsbury, they will square off against Wachusett Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
