Softball Recap: Hanover Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

There's no place like home for Hanover, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Plymouth North Eagles on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-3 two weeks ago.

Hanover's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Plymouth North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Hanover will challenge Plymouth South at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Plymouth North, they will head out on the road to take on Hingham at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
