Baseball Recap: New London Wildcats vs. Crestview Cougars
While it was New London who put the first runs on the board on Thursday, it was Crestview who put up more. The Wildcats fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 6-5. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.
Oliver Harrison put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Harrison was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run and one double.
