There's no place like home for Aloha, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Mountainside Mavericks on Wednesday as they made off with an 8-2 victory. The Warriors not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 23rd (when they won 11-0).

Achillies Garcia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tobin Cramer, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Hayden Grot, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Aloha's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Mountainside, they moved to 9-14 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Aloha will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mavericks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
