Bella Nava put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Friday. She wasn't messing around, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was her eighth straight with one or fewer walks.

Nava's strong effort led Angleton over Sterling and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
