Basketball Recap: American Heritage Piles Up the Points Against Rowland Hall

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Duchesne, American Heritage was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They breezed by the Rowland Hall Winged Lions to the tune of 50-19. The Patriots pushed the score to 35-12 by the end of the third, a deficit the Winged Lions had little chance of recovering from.

American Heritage's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Liv Larsen, who posted 14 points and five steals. Brinley Hall was another key player, putting up 12 points and six steals.

American Heritage now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Rowland Hall, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American Heritage will venture away from home to square off against Intermountain Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rowland Hall, they will take on Maeser Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
