There's no place like home for Barnesville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Bridgeport Bulldogs 61-38 on Friday. That looming 61-38 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Shamrocks yet this season.

When it comes to explaining why Bridgeport lost, don't look at Avery Jackson. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-15 en route to 17 points and six boards. That's the most points Jackson has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaki Threet, who scored nine points and six rebounds.

Barnesville pushed their record up to 8-14 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points over those games. As for Bridgeport, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barnesville will face off against Ridgewood at 7:00 p.m. on February 22nd. As for Bridgeport, they will square off against Frontier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
