Football Recap: Williams Piles Up the Points Against Graham

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Williams). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 56-6 win over the Graham Red Devils. With the Bulldogs ahead 36-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Williams had a senior duo take command as Amarion Richmond rushed for 91 yards and a pair of scores and Kyrian Fuller rushed for 65 yards and one touchdown. Jazian Bigelow also helped with two TDs in total.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Williams, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Bubba Sims, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

The victory (which was Williams' third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.3 points over those games. As for Graham, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Williams and Graham will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Bulldogs see the field they'll take on Southern Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd. As for Graham, their break will end when they face Person at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd.
