Soccer Recap: Resurrection Catholic Comes Up Short

If Resurrection Catholic was feeling good fresh off their 4-0 takedown of North Forrest last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Resurrection Catholic Eagles came up short against the Our Lady Academy Crescents on Tuesday, falling 6-0. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Crescents from their previous meeting back in January.

Resurrection Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Our Lady Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Resurrection Catholic will venture away from home to face off against Perry Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Our Lady Academy, they will face off against St. Patrick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Patrick knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Our Lady Academy likes a good challenge.
