Volleyball Game Preview: Trinity Oaks Christian Academy Huskies vs. Harvest-Westminster Warrior-Lions

The Trinity Oaks Christian Academy Huskies will venture away from home to face off against the Harvest-Westminster Warrior-Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Trinity Oaks Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Mooseheart. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Red Ramblers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Trinity Oaks Christian Academy took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Harvest-Westminster was able to grind out a solid win over Westlake Christian Academy on Thursday, taking the game 2-0.

Harvest-Westminster never let Westlake Christian Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22.

Harvest-Westminster found their leader in sophomore Amelia Herther, who had nine digs and two aces.

Trinity Oaks Christian Academy's record now sits at 12-7. As for Harvest-Westminster, their record is now 11-6.

Trinity Oaks Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Harvest-Westminster in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
