Baseball Recap: Pinnacle Takes a Loss

Pinnacle lost against O'Connor on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pioneers came up short against the Eagles, falling 7-1. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pinnacle saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Petroff, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Trenton Pater also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Pinnacle now has a losing record of 10-11-1. As for O'Connor, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Pinnacle didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Liberty on the 21st. As for O'Connor, they have also already played their next game, an 8-0 loss against Red Mountain on the 21st.
