Basketball Recap: Richmond Takes a Loss

Richmond lost against Croswell-Lexington back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Richmond Blue Devils took a 63-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 351st, while the Pioneers are ranked 167th).

Richmond's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Croswell-Lexington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richmond has already played their next match (against North Branch), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Croswell-Lexington will face off against Armada at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Croswell-Lexington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
