Soccer Recap: Madison Central Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Madison Central's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Evansville Mater Dei Wildcats by a score of 3-1. Given Madison Central's advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 34th in Kentucky, while Evansville Mater Dei are ranked 134th in Indiana) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Madison Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those eight matches. As for Evansville Mater Dei, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4-1.
