Basketball Recap: St. George's Comes Up Short

St. George lost against LaGrange Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. St. George's fell to LaGrange Academy 69-63.

St. George's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 12-6. As for LaGrange Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

St. George's didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-41 victory against Skipstone Academy on the 1st. As for LaGrange Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against St. Mary's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
