Soccer Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Sterling Tigers, falling 4-0. Things got a bit chippy out on the turf as both teams were handed red cards: Valley's Azul Mendoza and Sterling's Cedi Ball.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Sterling, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-2.

Valley has already played their next game, a 6-0 defeat against Longmont on the 25th. As for Sterling, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Union Colony Prep on the 25th.
