Basketball Game Preview: Salem Wildcats vs. Perry Central Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Salem Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Perry Central Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Salem will be strutting in after a win while Perry Central will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Salem needed a bit of extra time to put away Wilkinson County. They secured a 55-49 W over Wilkinson County.

Meanwhile, Perry Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Greene County and fell 71-31. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-18.

Salem will need to focus on slowing down Skylyn Powe, one of several Perry Central players who made an impact when they last played. He posted eight points and five boards.

The victory got Salem back to even at 1-1. As for Perry Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
