Otay Ranch has no trouble against San Ysidro

The Otay Ranch Mustangs can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past San Ysidro 62-40. That 22 points margin sets a new team best for Otay Ranch this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Otay Ranch to victory, but perhaps none more so than Percy Whittaker, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Delacruz, who scored 14 points along with five assists and three steals.
Otay Ranch's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-15. As for San Ysidro, they bumped their record down to 4-15 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Otay Ranch will be playing in front of their home fans against Bonita Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Ysidro, they will head out on the road to square off against Mater Dei Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
