Belton-Honea Path is still winless after their matchup against Christ Church Episcopal on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers. One positive for the Bears, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Colby Bates made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhett Turner, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Belton-Honea Path's record now sits at 0-4. As for Christ Church Episcopal, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

Coming up, Belton-Honea Path will head out to square off against Easley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Christ Church Episcopal, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Walhalla at 6:30 p.m.
