Volleyball Recap: Rose Hill Rockets vs. East Aces
Rose Hill waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They skirted past the East Aces 2-1. The Rockets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Aces, too.
Rose Hill was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-12, 25-15.
Addie Rockley paced Rose Hill's offense, picking up 19 kills. Rockley got some help from
Kadance Heumann and her 26 assists.
Natalie Hernandez-Rodela controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Despite the loss, East still got an impressive performance from Loen Henderson, who had 12 digs and 21 assists.
Rose Hill has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-14 record this season. As for East, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-24.
Rose Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. After both having extra time off, East and Northwest will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
