Basketball Recap: Clayton Gets the Win

While Clayton didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They pulled ahead with a 63-62 photo finish over the Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue on Saturday. For the Yellowjackets, this counts as revenge for the 64-53 win the Blue/Lady Blue walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Clayton's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Roy/Mosquero, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Clayton will venture away from home to face off against Des Moines at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roy/Mosquero, they will be home for the holidays to greet Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Logan will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Roy/Mosquero surely won't give up without a fight.
