Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-1 to the Panama Razorbacks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 12-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Central dropped their record down to 4-9 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Panama, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will host Westville at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Panama, they will square off against Oktaha at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
