Gabrielino's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the El Monte Lions by a score of 5-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 on April 4th.

With the victory, Gabrielino broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-9-1. As for El Monte, they dropped their record down to 0-16 with the loss, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gabrielino will take on Mountain View at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
