Volleyball Game Preview: Carmel Padres vs. Palma Chieftains + Official Tickets

The Carmel Padres will take on the Palma Chieftains at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Carmel is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight matches on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Pacific Grove.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 31-27, 25-18, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Palma came up short against Hollister on Monday, falling 3-0.

Palma was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-11, 25-20.

Palma's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Carmel, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Carmel beat Palma 3-1 in their previous meeting on October 6th. Will the Padres repeat their success, or do the Chieftains have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
