Basketball Recap: Jacob Webber and Ben Johnson Secure Win for Kearney

On Friday, everything went the Kearney Bearcats's way against the Central Indians as the Kearney Bearcats made off with a 58-38 win.

Kearney was led to victory by Ben Johnson and Jacob Webber. Johnson dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Webber went 9 of 18 on his way to 26 points. The matchup was Johnson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Leyton Paider, who posted six points.

Kearney's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Central, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Kearney wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 78-67 defeat against Scottsbluff on the 21st. Central has also already played their next contest, a 47-37 loss against St. Thomas More on the 21st.
