Oklahoma Christian (8 Man) recap Oct. 9, 2012

Oklahoma City Patriots HomeSchool led Oklahoma Christian (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 66 points on Life Christian.

Destiny Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Craig Hofeld has thrown for 1745 yards and 21 touchdowns this season, while Colton Hamel has 44 catches for 932 yards. Boston Mims leads the league in rushing with 632 yards.

Destiny Christian's Hamel is only 68 receiving yards away from breaking 1,000 receiving yards this season as he enters this week's game against the Windsor Hills Baptist.

Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Wildcats take on the Bulldogs. Destiny Christian's offense has racked up 308 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Windsor Hills Baptist has allowed only 69 on the year.

A big matchup in Oklahoma Christian (8 Man) this week will be when Joe Biddle's team takes on Wes Randall's team. The Wildcats are currently in third, while the Bulldogs are in second.

There should be lots of points scored when Destiny Christian and Windsor Hills Baptist face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Wildcats comes in having scored 308 this season, while the Bulldogs have scored 218. Destiny Christian scored 30 points last week as it bested Southwest Christian Academy.

The longest pass in the league this week came courtesy of Wright Christian's Logan Bowline. He connected with Matt Haymes on a 58-yard pass as the Wildcats fell to the Wildcats.
