There's no place like home for St. Edward, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Okeechobee Brahmans on Friday as they made off with a 28-7 win. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Brahmans, too.

One reason for the win was St. Edward's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Leading the way was Connor O'Brien with three.

St. Edward's now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Okeechobee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Edward's will welcome Cocoa Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Okeechobee, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sebastian River at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
