Football Recap: Porter Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Porter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 26-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kingwood Park Panthers. The Spartans were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Stone Singletary threw for 100 yards on ten of 18 attempts. Landon Binford was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards.

Cooper Wolocko had a dynamite game For Kingwood Park., rushing for 144 yards and one score on only 15 carries. Those 144 rushing yards gave Wolocko a new career-high. Jon Pavlatos was another key player, throwing for 69 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Porter's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Kingwood Park, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-5.

As of now, neither Porter nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
