Basketball Recap: Bronaugh Wildcats vs. Hume Hornets        
        
		
             Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Bronaugh). They enjoyed a cozy  48-29 win over the Hume Hornets on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bronaugh to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Luke Bowling, who  went 6 for 15 en route to 19 points plus six  steals and two  blocks. Bowling is  crushing it when it comes to  steals: he's   grabbed at least three every time he's  taken the court this season.  Strauss Banes was another key player,  dropping  a double-double on 13 points and 12  rebounds.
 Bronaugh  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 21  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in seven consecutive  matches  dating back to last season.
 The  victory  got Bronaugh back to even at 2-2.
 A feisty cat fight will be fought when  the Bronaugh Wildcats  take on   the Drexel Bobcats at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Hume, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Osceola at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
