Football Game Preview: Pearce Mustangs vs. Lake Highlands Wildcats + How To Watch

Pearce is 0-10 against Lake Highlands since October of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. The contest will give Pearce their first taste of in-conference action this season.

Two weeks ago, Pearce took a blow against Marcus, falling 52-14. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 270th, while the Marauders are ranked 60th).

Although Pearce took the loss, they still got scores from Dustin Rodriguez and Jeremiah Lyons.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lake Highlands duked it out with Flower Mound two weeks ago. The Wildcats strolled past the Jaguars with points to spare, taking the game 52-38. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Pearce now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lake Highlands, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
