Basketball Game Preview: Stryker Panthers vs. Edon Bombers

The Stryker Panthers will square off against the Edon Bombers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Stryker is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Stryker ended up a good deal behind Delta and lost 45-29. While losing is never fun, Stryker can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 480th, while Delta is ranked 77th).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 55-26, which was the final score in Edon's tilt against Montpelier on Friday. The Bombers haven't had much luck with the Locomotives recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Stryker now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Edon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Stryker was able to grind out a solid victory over Edon when the teams last played back in January of 2024, winning 40-33. Will Stryker repeat their success, or does Edon have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
